Genuine Concerns (editorial)
Consideration of a development application (DA) for road infrastructure for the proposed Hunter Economic Zone at Tomalpin might take a lot longer than the average DA, according to Cessnock City Council. That is to be expected , given the scale of the project which, at 870 ha, will be the largest industrial estate in NSW. Community concerns must be addressed in the review process. However it must be hoped that the council will not be swamped with frivolous, time-wasting objections, as can happen when a project is controversial. |
